Therapeutic Ginger Root Extract
Published research describes ginger's activity on 5-HT3 and NK1 receptor pathways and its effects on gastric motility. This dose has been used in 50+ peer-reviewed studies of nausea in oncology settings (Ryan et al., 2012; Zick et al., 2009) — findings on the ingredient, not a claim about this finished product.
1,000mg
Bioenergy Ribose® (D-Ribose) · U.S. Patent #6,159,942
Rate-limiting substrate for ATP synthesis via the pentose phosphate pathway. Studied in published research in the context of fatigue and cellular energy metabolism (Teitelbaum et al., 2006).
Formulation note: Anti-Na® SIPS is designed to dissolve and be sipped rather than swallowed, which may be easier for patients with mucositis or dysphagia who have difficulty swallowing capsules. Published research on ginger and D-Ribose individually is available in the study library below; the combined formulation itself has not been the subject of a clinical trial.

Published research summary

Ginger & D-Ribose in the published literature

This table summarizes what has been published in the literature about ginger root extract and D-Ribose alongside common medication classes. It is provided for informational purposes only — it is not medical advice, is not a substitute for pharmacist or prescriber review, and is not a claim by Anti-Na® about safety or efficacy for any individual patient. Always verify against primary sources and current prescribing information before making any care decision.

Drug / Class Literature summary Notes & citations
Carboplatin, Cisplatin, Oxaliplatin
Platinum-based agents
No interaction reported Published trials have used ginger alongside platinum-based regimens without reporting pharmacokinetic interactions (Ryan et al., 2012). Not a substitute for individualized clinical review.
Paclitaxel, Docetaxel
Taxanes
No interaction reported No interactions documented in the literature at a 2,000mg ginger dose; ginger has not been shown to meaningfully inhibit CYP3A4 at this dose range.
5-Fluorouracil (5-FU), Capecitabine
Antimetabolites
No interaction reported No pharmacokinetic or pharmacodynamic interactions with ginger or D-Ribose have been documented in the literature.
Ondansetron, Granisetron
5-HT3 antagonists
Studied together Ginger has been studied as an adjunct alongside 5-HT3 antagonists in the published literature, with no adverse interaction reported. This is not an implied endorsement by any guideline body.
Dexamethasone
Corticosteroid antiemetic
No interaction reported Commonly co-administered with ginger in published trials, with no interaction reported.
Warfarin, Apixaban, Rivaroxaban
Anticoagulants
Caution noted in literature Ginger has documented mild antiplatelet activity and may potentiate anticoagulant effects per published sources. Recommend monitoring INR and independent clinical judgment.
Insulin, Metformin, GLP-1 agonists
Diabetes medications
Monitor per literature Ginger has been reported to have mild hypoglycemic effects in some published sources. D-Ribose is metabolized differently from glucose. Recommend monitoring in insulin-dependent patients.
Semaglutide, Tirzepatide
GLP-1 receptor agonists
No interaction reported No pharmacokinetic interactions documented in the literature to date. Some practitioners report using ginger-based support for medication-related nausea; this is not a claim of efficacy for that use.

This table summarizes publicly available published literature only. It is not medical advice, is not intended as a clinical directive, and does not represent Anti-Na® conducting or claiming its own safety assessment of these combinations. Practitioner FAQ

No. SIPS was first developed with oncology patients in mind, and that remains where we've done the most listening and iteration — but the same formula is used across other settings too. Integrative and functional medicine practices stock it for general nausea and fatigue, OB-GYNs recommend it for morning sickness, and GLP-1 / weight management clinics use it for medication-related nausea. If your patients experience nausea or fatigue, SIPS may be relevant to your practice as general wellness support.
Anti-Na® SIPS is a dietary supplement intended for general wellness support alongside — never in place of — standard antiemetic medications such as 5-HT3 antagonists (ondansetron, granisetron) or dexamethasone. Published literature has not documented adverse pharmacokinetic interactions between ginger and platinum-based agents, taxanes, or antimetabolites at the dose used in SIPS, but this is not a claim of safety or efficacy for any individual patient. Any decision to use SIPS alongside a prescribed treatment plan should involve the patient's care team.
Through Faire, the minimum opening order is $75–100 with Net 60 terms and free returns on your first order. For direct wholesale accounts, minimums are determined based on your clinic's patient volume and ordering cadence — contact orders@kddnutra.com to discuss. Institutional and oncology center partnerships are fully custom.
Yes — this is one of the format's key practical advantages. Anti-Na® SIPS dissolves completely in water in 3–5 seconds and is sipped as a warm or cold liquid. It bypasses the need to swallow capsules or tablets, which patients experiencing mucositis or dysphagia often find easier. As with any supplement, individual patients should check with their care team before adding it to their routine.
Anti-Na® SIPS is founded and headquartered in Irvine, California, and manufactured in an FDA-registered, GMP-certified facility in Utah. All ingredients are FDA-GRAS certified. The product is WADA banned substance tested, Non-GMO, contains no added sugar, no artificial additives, no stimulants, and no sedatives. DSHEA-compliant. Full Certificate of Analysis available upon request for qualified wholesale accounts.
If you're already on Fullscript, submit a brand request directly through Fullscript's new brand request form (linked above in the Fullscript section). Practitioner demand is one of the primary factors in Fullscript's catalog consideration. A request takes under 2 minutes and directly influences our listing application. We deeply appreciate every submission.
Not yet on the finished formulation. There is published research on each active ingredient individually — including peer-reviewed studies on ginger and nausea, and published research on Bioenergy Ribose® and fatigue-related outcomes — but the specific combination of ginger and D-Ribose in Anti-Na® SIPS has not itself been studied in a formal clinical trial. We're actively seeking clinical partners for observational outcome tracking; if your center is interested, contact us at orders@kddnutra.com.
